Our Books on Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Therapy |
|
|
There are many questions from our
clients for what is acupuncture, how acupuncture works, what
kinds of diseases acupuncture can help and more. There are
also misunderstandings among acupuncture students that they
have already learnt all the knowledge about acupuncture. This is
not true. There are strong voices now among Chinese
acupuncturists that textbook acupuncture,
e.g. the acupuncture taught in schools, is not proper
for acupuncture practice in many aspects. It is away from what the original
acupuncture bibles told us to practice, and the
success rate of the textbook acupuncture is far less than
the actual ways of acupuncture in daily clinic. Because
this, there are more than 40 styles of
acupuncture that are practiced in current clinics,
We prepared the following series of books about
acupuncture. Some are for ordinary clients who seek
acupuncture for the treatment. Some are more for newly
graduated acupuncturists, who finished school education
on acupuncture but have no any practical experience yet.

Some disease conditions can be properly treated by
acupuncture and some by Chinese herbal therapy. One cannot
completely replace another. There are several major systems
of Chinese herbal therapy. The style of Shang Han Lun is
believed the bible of Chinese herbal therapy but it is hard
to understand, to teach and to learn. We bring you into the
understanding how to use the Shang Han Lun to solve
diseases. If you, as acupuncturist, can use both in your
clinic work, your healing effect would be much higher.
Unfortunately, the Shan Han Lun is only very briefly
mentioned in your text book, so that you only heard of it
but not learn it yet. |
