Vomiting or Hiccup
If you have vomiting or hiccup, you can try
either of the following folk tips:
(1). Turnip and honey
Material: Turnip, one; honey, 50g.
How to use: Wash the turnip, cut into small
pieces, grind into mud, mix with honey to eat. This folk tip
works for nausea, vomiting.
(2). Sugarcane and ginger
Material: Sugarcane juice, half cup; fresh
ginger juice, one tea spoon.
How to use: Mix the juices. Drink it after
warm it up little bit.
This folk tip is used for reflux and dry
vomiting.
(3). Honey and ginger
Material: Honey, 2 tea spoons; fresh ginger
juice, 1 tea spoon.
How to use: Mix the honey and fresh ginger
with about 100 ml water. Steam to warm. Drink.
This folk tip is used for reflux and dry
vomiting too.
(4). Ginger
Material: Fresh ginger, 50g; fruit sugar,
one.
How to use: Wash the ginger, eat it before
traveling. Hold the fruit sugar (chewing gum) in mouth.
This tip is used to prevent car sick or
plane sick (such as dizziness, nausea, etc.)
(5). Pepper, ginger, and zisou
Material: White pepper, 5 g; ginger, 5g;
Zisu (a kind of Chinese herb), 5g.
How to use: Add all material into 200 ml
water. Bring to boiling until there is about 100 ml left. Drink
the tea.
This formula is used for nausea and
vomiting due to eat too much and to poor digestion.
(6). Sheep meat and garlic
How to use: Remove fibro membrane from the
sheep meat. Cook into water until it is editable. Eat with
garlic.
This is used for Cold stomach syndrome
(upper stomach pain, acid reflux, nausea and vomiting, etc.).
(7). Mango
How to use: Eat mango before and during
traveling.
This tip is used for prevention and solve
of car sick.
(8). Vinegar-ginger, brown sugar
How to use: Cut ginger into pieces, put
into vinegar overnight. When use, take three pieces of such
vinegar-ginger, add into hot water, mixed with brown sugar
little bit. Drink as tea.
This folk tip is used for upper stomach
pain and vomiting due to Cold stomach syndrome.
(9). Sheep milk
How to use: Bring fresh sheep milk into
boiling. Drink the warm milk, one cup each time and twice a day.
This folk tip is used for dry vomiting due
to Yin deficiency stomach. (with dry mouth, hot palm and/or
sole, etc. )
(10). White sugar
How to use: Whenever hiccup comes, eat the
white sugar once.
This is one of the tips to stop hiccup.
(11). Lemon and liquor
How to use: Rinse fresh lemon into liquor
for several days. Eat the lemon.
This is to stop hiccup.
(12). Litchi ash
Material: Litchi, seven.
How to use: Bring the litchi (with shell
and kernel) to fire to ash. Grind into powder. Drink the powder
with water to swallow.
This is for stop hiccup and solve sour
throat.
(13). Persimmon bottom stem ash
Material: Bottom stem of persimmon, three.
How to use: Bring to dry in any way, then
burn to ash. Grind into powder. Drink the ash with help of water
for swallow. Or, you can add ten of the bottom stems into water,
bring to boiling. Drink the water as tea. You also prepare such
ash by use of bottom stem of pumpkin.
It works to stop hiccup.
(14). Papaya and salt
Material: Papaya, 10g; salt, 10g.
How to use: Add papaya into 200 ml of
water, bring to boil for 20 min. Add salt. Drink the extraction.
(15). Longan ash
Material: Longan, seven.
How to use: Bring to dry in any way, then
burn to ash. Grind into powder. Drink the ash with help of water
for swallow.
It is used to stop hiccup.
